1. Who We Are

MarginPulse Pro is operated by MarginPulse Technologies Private Limited ("we", "us", "our"), incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013 (CIN: U72900KA2026PTC000001), registered in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.

We operate the platform at app.marginpulse.in and the marketing website at marginpulse.in (collectively, the "Service").

2. What Data We Collect

Account Information

When you register, we collect your business name, email address, GSTIN, phone number, and a hashed version of your password. We never store your password in plaintext.

Financial Data

With your explicit authorisation, we access and process your bank transaction data (via RBI Account Aggregator), your invoice data (uploaded or synced), and your GST filing data (via GSP/GSTN APIs). This data is used exclusively to provide the reconciliation service.

Usage Data

We collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) and in-app usage patterns to improve the product. This data is anonymised for analytics purposes.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To provide, operate, and improve the reconciliation service
• To send you reconciliation alerts, anomaly notifications, and product updates
• To respond to your support queries
• To comply with applicable Indian law and regulatory requirements
• To detect and prevent fraud or abuse of the platform

We do not use your financial data for advertising, marketing to third parties, or training AI models.

4. Bank & GST Portal Data

Bank transaction data is accessed via the RBI-regulated Account Aggregator (AA) framework under your explicit, revocable consent. Access is read-only. We cannot initiate transactions.

GST portal data is accessed via Government-authorised GSP/GSTN APIs under your explicit authorisation. We access only the filing data required for reconciliation (GSTR-2A, GSTR-2B) and no other data from the portal.

Both authorisations can be revoked at any time — bank access from your bank's mobile app, GST access from the portal settings — without contacting us.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only with:

• Infrastructure providers: Cloud hosting and database providers operating under data processing agreements with equivalent security standards.
• Legal requirements: We will disclose data if required by a court order, SEBI or GST authorities, or other legally valid process under Indian law.

6. Data Retention

Your account data is retained for the duration of your subscription plus 90 days after termination. Financial transaction data processed for reconciliation is retained for 7 years in compliance with Indian accounting regulations. You may request earlier deletion of non-regulated data by contacting us.

7. Your Rights

Under applicable Indian privacy law, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@marginpulse.in. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Security

We use TLS 1.3 for data in transit and AES-256 encryption for data at rest. Our infrastructure is hosted in India. Internal access to customer data is role-based and logged. We conduct security reviews periodically and operate a responsible disclosure programme.
